Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

Against the beautiful backdrop of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the 1914 Sikhs Platoon marched to honour their fallen forefathers of the First World War. With military officials, war veterans, public figures and family members all standing to give an ovation of gratitude and respect as the troops marched past to give their final salute.

‘This day will be written in history. 100 years from now, people will look to this day and recall how a Platoon of 30 Sikhs marched at Sandhurst to pay tribute to their brave and fallen soldiers.’ – Major General Robert Nitsch
